There is something special about destination weddings as a photographer, getting to step into a place that means so much to a couple and tell their story where it all happened. This beautiful College Station wedding brought me all the way to Texas, and from the moment I landed, it was clear this day was going to be one to remember.

The day began with a heartfelt Catholic ceremony surrounded by family, friends, and so much anticipation. Catholic weddings always carry such beautiful traditions and intentionality, and this ceremony was no exception. Every moment felt meaningful as these two promised forever in front of the people who love them most.

After the ceremony, we headed to the campus of Texas A&M University for bride and groom portraits. Their story was woven into this place, making it the perfect backdrop for portraits during their College Station wedding.
The campus was absolutely showing off for us that day. Beautiful blooms surrounded the walkways, adding the dreamiest pops of color to their portraits. Between the flowers, iconic campus scenery, and the excitement of finally being married, every image felt effortlessly joyful. There is something incredibly meaningful about taking portraits in a place tied so deeply to a couple’s story, a place that helped shape the season of life that led them here.
Before the celebration officially kicked off, the couple made a stop at one of their favorite local spots for lunch. It was a sweet pause in the middle of the wedding day to soak everything in together. I always love moments like this because they feel so them. Amid the timeline and excitement, they intentionally chose to revisit a place they love before heading into the evening festivities.
The celebration continued at The Ice House on Main, where guests gathered to celebrate the newlyweds and fill the dance floor all night long. The energy in the room was contagious. Friends and family danced, laughed, and celebrated every moment with the couple, creating the kind of reception atmosphere every pair hopes for.

From flying into Texas for this destination wedding to exploring the Texas A&M campus, photographing portraits among spring blooms, and ending the evening with a packed dance floor at The Ice House on Main, this wedding day was full of intentional moments and memories that reflected exactly who these two are.
Every location played a meaningful role in their story, from the traditions of their Catholic ceremony to the places they chose to revisit together throughout the day.
It’s weddings like this that remind me why I love documenting celebrations that feel deeply personal and preserving not only how a wedding day looked, but the places, people, and memories that made it unforgettable.
